Spiti Valley is a high altitude Himalayan desert. To plan a trip to Spiti all you need is a thought and passion to travel. Spiti can be visited through out the year but with some extreme climatic conditions. Spiti is one of the coolest inhabited place on the earth. During winters the temperature can drop down to Max. -35°C. People who love to experience extreme cold weather can travel to Spiti from December to March and others can plan from May to October for a comfortable weather.
Once you decide the time, you need to check number of days for the trip. We recommend you to plan Spiti trip for minimum 7-8 days if visiting from Manali and coming back to Manali from June to Oct or Shimla- Spiti Valley- Shimla around the year, and 9-12 days if visiting from Shimla and coming from Manali side. When we say 12 days that means from Chandigarh to Chandigarh or Delhi to Delhi.
Spiti is for those people who love peace and adventure. This trip if a cultural, photography and buddhist circuit trip. Spiti trip is a complete off road trip.
A Short itinerary would be - Dhankar Gompa - Pin Valley - Kaza - Key Monastery/Kibber village- Langza - Hikkim - Komik, Chandratal Lake (Moon Lake).

Day 2Kaza Sightseeing
Morning is at leisure. Afternoon visit local places: Langza Village: Famous for Fossil Park and Budha Statue. You have option: walk around the village and fossil park. Komic Village: It is the highest motorable village in Asia. Visit Tangyud Monastery & Meusum over there. Hikkim Village: Highest Post office in the world. You can post some postcard to your friend or relatives. Evening back to Kaza and exploring local kaza market and village. Overnight at Hotel/ Homestay/Guest House.

Day 3Kaza Sightseeing
After Breakfast head to Dhankhar Gompa (Fort Monastery) and Pin Valley. Visit last village of Pin Valley (Mud). On the way to Mud Village Visit: Sagnam Village, Telling Bridge, Kungri Monastery. Evening back to Kaza. Overnight at Kaza.

Day 4Kaza- Chandratal Lake
After breakfast drive to Chandratal lake via Famous Kyee Monastery, Kibber Village (Kibber village is famous for wild life, in the winter time you can see snow leopard, red fox, Ulle, Himalayan Griffin, Golden Eagle, Blue Sheep, Wolf Etc), Chicham Bridge, Losar Village, Kunzum la pass & Chandratal Lake. Overnight at Campsite.

Day 5Chandratal Lake- Manali
Morning drive to Manali. On the way stop for photography & vediography. Reach Manali in the afternoon/ Evening. Tour End.
